From childhood, dreams, fantasies, observations and drawing have been my favorite pastimes.
I was born in Ganga, Congo, but came back to Belgium with my parents when I was 3 years old. I obtained a Master in Science from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, and after living and working in Italy for 15 years I am teaching in Belgium as a geography and science high school teacher.
I was always interested in art and got my Masters degree in art & painting at the academy of art in Leuven. In 2018 I studied at Ireland’s Ballinglen Arts Foundation where I worked with artist Catherine Kehoe.
My hobby became my passion. From portraits to installations to expressive compositions. I search intuitively for defined situations or synchronistisch patterns, shapes, hues, darks and lights. The oil paint, charcoal, pencil, gouache, painted palettes, paper and canvases excite me. I am trying new techniques and styles to continue expressing myself and developing my skills.
